Police in hunt for “muscular” attacker of schoolgirl

POLICE are today hunting this man over a terrifying attack on a schoolgirl in Tighnabruaich.

The thug – described as having a “muscular” build – assaulted the 14-year-old in the Craobh Brae area of the village.

The attack took place at around 1am on 14 January – and police yesterday released an e-fit picture of the man responsible.

He was wearing a long sleeve dark red top and jeans when he pounced on the girl in the darkened street.

The brute – said to be in his 30s – is around 6ft 2ins tall with dark wavy hair and his eye colour is possibly green.
